Researchers propose the Atomic User Model (AUM), a profile structure for representing user personality and preferences for more accurate language model interaction. The AUM has a stable identity core and layers covering psychological, cognitive, experiential, behavioral, and social details. This design improves writing quality and personalization, with a 23% reduction in context and a 28.8% increase in accuracy in picking a user's own writing.
