TaReD proposes a tool-aware recursive decomposition method for long-horizon tasks, improving end-to-end task success rate by up to 40 percentage points over baselines. This method organizes tools by functional relationships into a hierarchy of capabilities, allowing agents to discover tools on demand and recursively decompose tasks.
