Researchers proposed Unified Co-Evolution (UCoE), a training-free method that evolves an executable verifier program together with the agent's harness state to improve agent performance on open-ended tasks. The method synthesizes candidate verifiers, tests them on response contrasts, and selects the best one to diagnose weaknesses and guide repairs.
